Broadway Arts Festival-MAIN PRIZE JUDGE

I had one of my biggest honour of being the ‘MAIN JUDGE’ at the Broadway Arts Festival’s 2024 Annual Art Competition along with Malcolm Rogers CBE, ex-Deputy Director of National Portrait Gallery in London and Director of Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

We both had a very challenging task to choose the Winners from thousands of entries. It was daunting at first specially when you have such a high profile critic like Malcolm Rogers with you, but it was amazing how well we synced and agreed to our choices! Some great few hours of laughter and critic views that I really enjoyed.

The standard this year has been exceptionally high and you can tell that by counting the number of red dots on the works at yesterday’s PV evening!

It’s been wonderful couple of days at the Broadway village-the people, the hospitality here is beyond words. I was breathing the air that Sargent once breathed!

Yesterday’s PV evening was exceptionally beautiful and so well organised. When you said VIP, you really meant it! I’m totally blown away by your welcome!
