Broadway Festival Annual Art Competition 2025- Main Prize Judge
Delighted to be the ‘Main Prize Judge’ for the Broadway Annual Art Competition 2025, along with Malcolm Rogers (ex-Deputy Director of the National Portrait Gallery in London, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and also the Chairman of Trustees of the Broadway Museum and Art Gallery).
Great honour for me to be discussing, choosing and critiquing our winner choices with him and sharing our thoughts. What an insightful experience.
Congratulations to all the winners and finalists at the show.
This year, particularly it was very difficult to choose the winners due to the high standard of work and increased number of entries.
The PV was very well attended with many sales happening before and during the opening.
A very well organised show by the excellent team of festival director Alison, volunteers and great support of the Trustees and the Patrons of the festival. And Ofcourse all the participating artists.
During my stay, I spent a good day scouting for the venues and finalising subjects in the Broadway village for my next workshop in June 2026. The details are on the festival website and bookings will open in January. I am very excited about it! So keep an eye.
So much more to explore and take in. Can’t wait to be back next year for the festival in June.
Visit the show which is open for next 10 days until 5 October in Bretforton in a beautiful Theatrebarn.
All works are for sale!
