Chelsea Art Society + London Plein Air Competition
Last Saturday on 17th June around 100 artists from our ‘London Plein Air Group’ participated in our first ever competition hosted for ‘Chelsea Art Society’ to coincide with its Annual Summer show.
It was wonderful to see so many artists turn up on the streets of Chelsea to paint along and generate the energy and the vibe in and around the Chelsea Townhall.
On the judges team we had Luke Martineau, Carol Owen and myself to choose 5 winners anonymously.
The prizes were sponsored by The Gallery, Green and Stone.
The quality of works produced on the day was of exceptionally high standard which made it very difficult to choose just the 5 winners. So Congratulations to all the winners!
We, the LPA would like to Thank Alice Hall, the director of CAS to invite us to host this competition and all the artists for making it a grand success. Looks like this could be a annual thing now!
