About the Painting:

After a brief to capture the happy age of their children, who are much older now than in this painting, being a father myself, I could empathise with the feeling that every parent goes through when they miss the innocent years of their children who are ever growing so fast. After some initial trials, I chose to paint the siblings together in one painting rather than having two separate portraits just so that I could celebrate the special bond of  a elder brother and a little sister through the painting. As they are now much older now, I painted this portrait from a reference photo where I was given full artistic liberty to make the painting joyful and happy. I am quite pleased the way it turned out and happy to learn that the parents find it exactly how they imagined they would like it to be.
