Wapping Christmas Lunch 2023
I thought this deserves a post!
Yesterday I attended my first Annual Christmas lunch as a full member of the Wapping Group of Artists, wearing a Wappers Blue Tie and the official pin on my coat- something that I couldn’t wait to wear with so much pride and honour.
Along with raising toasts & speeches, there is a beautiful age old Wapping tradition of exchanging surprise gifts from artists to their better halves, partners, husbands and wives.
Ruchi was so lucky to get a beautiful sketch by Keith Morton which will go straight on our wall.
With this lunch I complete my first year as a Wapper and look forward to many many more years of contribution and association with this wonderful group that we proudly call a Wapping family
