Grand Prize Winner-‘The Green & Stone AWARD’
So honoured to be chosen as the winner of ‘The Green & Stone Award’ at the PV last night for my painting ‘Girl on a Piano’.
An award of £10,000 which is a fully funded solo show for the artist who exhibits a real feeling for their medium and its aesthetic potential.
Such a joy to see that I had even sold all my paintings on display and one before the show even opened.
‘Papa you are surely watching over me from up there’
I couldn’t sleep last night fearing I will wake up learning it was all just a dream.
It’s such a pleasure to be winning this award amongst such top class and extraordinary work on display. The PV was packed with more than 500 art enthusiasts at the gallery so it was wonderful meeting so many.
My sincere Thankyou to Hester, her brilliant team from ‘The Green and Stone’ and the judges to put up such an amazing show full of inspiration.
I can’t wait to begin my journey with this incredible team that is so enthusiastic and full of energy. Thankyou guys!
