ING Discerning Eye 2024-Invited Artist
Honoured to be an invited artist of none other than the MAN himself Adebanji Alade, ROI President (Royal Insititute of Oil Painters) to show these two paintings at this years ING DISCERNING EYE Annual show at the Mall Galleries.
I have pinched myself a few times when I got an email from the Discerning Eye team to let me know this fabulous news!
I don’t know what to say or how to say but THIS MAN has been such a great supporter of artists like me and an inspiration for so many of us. He is a mentor, he is an adviser, he is a role model…… he is a POWER HOUSE!
I was in tears when in March this year when Adebanji visited my Solo Show at the Green & Stone Gallery, way before the Private View and endorsed my work so genuinely, saying such wonderful things about me and my work that I felt speechless.
I don’t know how to express my Thankyou to such a generous soul who loves giving back to the art and the society with open arms.
In this journey of mine where I have sworn to work passionately and to the eternity, I can only Thank my stars and angels who come in form of humans like him who I know always have my back.
I thought I will share this news as one of the last news of the year; a year that I’m incredibly grateful and Thankful for.
There is a saying in Hindi ‘Picture abhi baki hai’ meaning the show is not yet over and true to that, I am so energised and so looking forward to so much in the coming few days, weeks, months and years!
