‘The Gatwick Collection: commissioned by British Airways
I am delighted to finally share a piece of work I was fortunate to be commissioned by BRITISH AIRWAYS @british_airways early this year as a part of an ad campaign to celebrate their network of destinations to Europe from London Gatwick airport.
The campaign titled ‘THE GATWICK COLLECTION’ includes my original painting done to represent the beautiful city of Porto, Portugal – one of their 40 destinations in the network.
The most exciting part of this is seeing my work on the big billboards all across London and South East England. From Waterloo station, to my local Teddington, Clapham junction to Portsmouth, Brighton and many places including the Gatwick airport itself.

Thankyou to everyone who has been sharing photos with me after seeing the ad on the billboards and digital screens as well.
I am very Thankful to British Airways and their advertising agency ‘Uncommon Studios’ for finding me and trusting me with this big responsibility of representing them.
I appreciate the fact that they choose real artists in this world of AI to paint and that they have been very generous in crediting the work to me.

WATERLOO STATION, LONDON
Inspite of a very tight brief and deadline, it’s been a pleasure working with this incredible team who gave me lot of freedom to have a voice of my own to this painting and welcoming my creative inputs.
This is definitely a high for me and a dream come true to see my works being displayed on such a scale all across the country and that too for British Airways.
Here are some places I had the pleasure of visiting to check the ad insitu.
Waterloo station platform, Teddington, Gatwick Airport, Clapham Junction, Battersea Power station.
I look forward to keep discovering them at other places and if you do spot them please do share them with me!
