Residential Workshop 

This is an unique opportunity to spend a week learning and painting with renowned artist Tushar Sabale in the picturesque Essaouira, Morocco. Tushar promises a very friendly and informal tutoring in this beautiful place visiting the local markets, beaches and ancient sites full of history.

You will have an opportunity to watch your tutor paint and demonstrate how he approaches a subject and then make a painting yourself under his direct guidance and supervision.

You will be taken through various studies demonstrated in form of sketches and paintings. The course will cover a range of topics such as choosing a subject, making a composition, understanding colours, tonal values, capturing light, atmosphere and more.

The aim of this course is to learn and gain confidence in painting ‘en plein air’ and further improve your skills. The course is suitable for all levels, however basic drawing skills would be helpful.

Though the course will be taught in oils other mediums like acrylics and gouache are welcome.

Everyday would be an artistic adventure and a journey through site visits, paintings and lots of stories shared over food and laughs.
